A charming stay with warm hosts

Waking up to a good breakfast of fresh fruit and a surprise omelette was such a treat! The hosts were kind and cute.

The traffic noise was quite noticeable, especially since our room faced a busy street. The air conditioning was not very effective.

Location: the hotel was just off the outskirts of Calgary, Calgary for over 30 years and Westmount River Inn. The room was huge and gorgeous with the balcony, washer/dryer, as example, I appreciated it. The service was superb, the food was fabulous!

The steam shower didn't work, but the room was beautifully decorated and clean.

The handcrafted woodwork throughout the home added a touch of elegance, and the cozy atmosphere. The owners were kind and cute, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience.

Parking can be tricky.

The Westmount River Inn boasts beautiful wood details and a cozy atmosphere. While there was a lack of signage, which made locating it tricky, Kim, the owner, provided warm hospitality and delicious breakfast options. Some amenities, like air conditioning, could use improvement to enhance comfort.

My room featured a comfy bed and good decor. The steam shower in my room didn't work, disappointing. The hosts were warm and provided a cozy vibe. Accessibility was an issue. Parking can be tricky. The neighborhood was vibrant and had a nice selection of restaurants, but a bit of a walk was necessary to reach them. I loved the ambiance and the kindness of the owners, but some amenities need attention.

The fresh breakfast was a hit with the kids, and we appreciated the charming decor.

For dads, it would be great if there was more space for kids to play.

The craftsmanship of the home's interior was very nice, with beautiful custom woodwork throughout the hotel. The hosts were warm and accommodating. The room was clean, with a luxurious air jet tub and a comfortable king-sized bed.

The house's charming decor and cozy feel made it a perfect place to unwind and relax. The cleanliness of the room was excellent as well. The air conditioning could use some improvement for those warmer nights.

great location but minor maintenance issues

The location is fantastic! A quick Uber ride gets you to downtown. I enjoyed walking back along the river. The craft in the decor is excellent, with beautiful wooden details that really enhanced the ambiance of my Superior Queen Spa Bath room. I woke up to a good breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries, a lovely start to my day. The garden view from the hotel added a serene touch to my stay.

Convenient location close to downtown. the staff here are amazing, and they go above and beyond to make sure everything is in order. Looking for a nice spot for tea or coffee? Check out Amato Gelato nearby. ☕

The delicious food was a great addition, and the hotel is conveniently located near shops, restaurants in kensington and a residential area.

The room was super clean and absolutely gorgeous, had a comfy bed, fresh fruit, and even a nice bathtub. the food was delicious and the staff were really friendly 😊.
